This Cricut Galantine’s Day card idea came from the popular TV show Parks and Recreation and was inspired by Leslie Knope and her quirky fun quotes from the beloved show. The sentiment on this card says “happy galentine’s day you poetic noble land mermaid”.

I used my Cricut machine to create the mermaid tail and the sentiment for this card. Using my Cricut markers and some light turquoise cardstock, I fed the cardstock through the machine, and the Cricut markers did all the work to write out the sentiment. I love using my Cricut for custom sentiments because it allows me to have an unlimited number of sentiments without having to stock a ton of stamps.
To wrap up this Cricut Galantine’s Day card idea, I picked out a pink card base, some heart patterned cardstock, and a strip of 80lb white cardstock to create the base for this Cricut design. Once I added the mermaid tail and the sentiment, I wrapped up the design by adding some dark turquoise rhinestones.
